Actionist Definition
Everyone can be an Actionist!
Here are some of my definitions of the word:
  1. Someone who motivates and inspires people to take action in their everyday lives.

  2. Someone of any age, race, class, and gender who wants to walk their talk out in the world and lead by example.

  3. Someone willing to do what it takes to make a difference in their lives and in the world at large.

Ways to take Action

  1. Support a friend/loved one.
Letting a friend or loved one know that you are supporting them in their choices, can mean a lot. Knowing that they are supported, gives them and you the strength to keep making those great choices.

  2. Be true to yourself.
It is often a lot easier to follow the crowd, than to stand alone, but being true to yourself is one of the best ways to take action in your everyday life. You would be surprised to find out how many people admire you for that ability.

  3. Write a list of goals or accomplishments you would like for yourself. Actually seeing your goals on paper in front of you can be a great motivator for staying on the path to accomplishing them. The accomplishment of your goals should be as rewarding as the journey it takes to get there.

Small steps of action can make a great change!

Nominate an Actionist!

One of the most rewarding things about being an Actionist is finding inspiration in the people around you. When you get out there and start making a difference your path is bound to cross with other people who share your passion. Who inspires you? What is it that makes this person an Actionist?
It can be someone you know or someone you've never met who's doing great things - an Actionist is anyone who walks their talk and inspires you to do the same!

Write to us about someone who inspires you and tell us about what they are doing to make the world a better place. Email your nomination to info@jessweiner.com and let us know who you think should be a Featured Actionist!
